Your responsibilities

  • Leading all technical aspects of the project from the start-up phase to final release (and launch if applicable).
  • Translating customer specifications into IEE system requirements.
  • Presenting technical themes to customers/suppliers and to IEE staff members.
  • Identifying and closing gaps in agreements with customers.
  • Identifying technical risks.
  • Simulating key functions on a system level.
  • Leading design and field Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Carrying out system integration.
  • Following IEE guidelines and rules.
  • Reviewing and releasing the design of capacitive sensors according to customer and internal specifications.
  • Releasing test programs for capacitive systems.
  • Leading and/or performing calibration preparation work.
  • Reviewing and releasing capacitive systems calibrations according to customer and internal specifications.
  • Releasing and supporting end test designs at the seat manufacture for capacitive systems.
  • Issuing all releases on time.
  • Updating work progress in IEE’s database.
  • Following the Project Structure Plan (PSP) and all defined company processes.Assisting with mentoring within the organization using your engineering knowledge and problem-solving facilitation skills.

Your profile

  • Educational Background: mechanical or electrical engineering degree
  • Technical Skills: basic knowledge of the physics around capacitive measurement and mechanical systems, basic knowledge of hardware (HW) and software (SW), familiarity with relevant engineering tools i.e. Matlab, Eagle, and 2D/3D CAD is asset 
  • Language Skills: fluent English, and german is considered a strong asset
  • IT Skills: general computer skills (Windows, Office, E-mail)
  • Soft Skills: problem-solving skills, organizational, negotiation skills, good customer communication
